History
Luma Optics was established in 2009 in Mumbai, Maharashtra by Mr. Ketan Patel and Mrs. Hema Patel. Mr. Ketan Patel, Chief Promoter and Technical Director has 30+ years of experience in the optics manufacturing field. In 2021, the manufacturing plant was shifted to Vadodara, Gujarat for expansion of the facilities. The factory layout is in an area of about 4,000 square feet.

- We are equipped with in-house facilities for the manufacture of optical elements from raw optical glass slabs to the final finished coated element ready for assembly/ delivery

Metrology
- In-house measuring equipment for measuring linear dimension in the micron/ submicron region and angular dimensions in 1 arc second precision.
- Optical test equipment such as electronic autocollimator with software, phase shift Zygo interferometer with software.
- Assembly workstations with air bearing for precision lens assemblies
